The story behind Van Rasoi

Wild honey pulled from a hollow tree at dusk. Amla picked the week it turns heavy. Tamarind pressed on a stone the family has used for three generations. Millets that survived the year the rain failed.

Van Rasoi is the Bharuch forest food basket, cleaned and packed to food-grade standard without being stripped of what makes it taste like a place. Where mahua is legally permissible, it goes into bakes — never into anything that would put a family at risk.

The honey cooperative pays its collectors within 48 hours of the drop. That single change ended the moneylender's season.
